Keep Those Creative Juices Flowing!!!!
I cannot emphasize this more, during vacation, don't take a break from creating art. Stay in the process! There has been tremendous energy in the studio and a lot of excitement about new ideas and directions. Keep that energy alive! I encourage you to share insights, concerns, gallery visits and personal artistic journeys that you endeavor over Diwali vacation via blog posts, email and sms messages.

A Great Start To An Amazing Journey!!!!

I always leave class critique feeling inspired. Listening to my students speak with tremendous passion about their work is a strong reminder how incredibly important the arts are in education. Today, ideas were shared and valuable reflecting took place. I am proud of the personal connections that my students have made in their work and the connections that they are making with the world in which they live. There is energy in the studio and ideas are flowing. I commend my students for sharing the responsibility of creating an environment that is both stimulating and supportive. Now that the 1st quarter has ended, I ask them to keep those creative juices flowing, by continuing to work daily in their IWB and by pushing themselves as they continue along on their journey.

Notpaper is a blog dedicated to showcasing the work of international collage artists. We strive to meet the artists and understand the thoughts behind the process, so interviews with artists are a big part of what we do. If you are new to the site, please enjoy our archives featuring hundreds of collagists!
